OPEN
You don’t need a BBQ this summer after all, thanks to smokehouse Boneyard Grill’s (1216 St. Clair Ave. W.) roster of burgers, chicken and ribs.
It’s been a long time coming, but Chotto Matte is bringing its world-renowned Nikkei cuisine and cocktails to the downtown core (161 Bay St.) on Wednesday. Stay tuned – sneak peek coming soon.
Are Japanese custard cream buns your jam? If so, you’re in luck. Hattendo (13 Baldwin St.) is giving away 100 free buns for this weekend’s grand opening.
Afghani restaurant Kabul Kebab House (1324 Gerrard St. E.) has reopened after extensive renovations.
Mad Radish is expanding again. The first of three new healthy eateries – and fifth of the brand - launches Wednesday (120 Bloor St. E.). Watch for the others to arrive later this summer and fall.
Want pizza RN? Pizza Forno, the automated pizza oven that pops out ‘za in three minutes, has added a new downtown location (217 Adelaide St. W.).
Shook Israeli Kitchen (77 Portland St.) offers an Israeli-inspired take on vegetarian fare in the heart of the Fashion District.
The Shozan Room Snack Bar (164 Ossington Ave.) has taken over the ground floor, while the “new wave” restaurant has moved upstairs. To celebrate, there’s free tonkotsu ramen next weekend: Fri June 21 (6pm-8pm) and Sat June 22 (1pm-3pm).
Doors open this Saturday for the grand opening of Sugar Kane (699 Danforth Ave.), a new Caribbean and Cajun spot in Greektown.

Adelaide Eats arrives in the Financial District tomorrow and every Friday until July 19.
The Wine & Spirit Festival returns to Sugar Beach this weekend.
