There’s no better time to dine out than this week, where warmer temps, brighter days, and a host of cuisines including Argentinean, Colombian, Caribbean, Indian, Italian and vegan, await you.

OPEN

Allwyn's Bakery (404 Queen St. W.) is celebrating their new downtown location with one free patty with every large meal purchased until tomorrow.

Argentinean restaurant Bacan Comidas y Bebidas (369 Roncesvalles Ave.) has landed in Roncey Village.

Cookie Martinez is launching her second Colombian street shop and eatery on Monday (1565 Dupont St.), with insects featured on the menu.

Halal pizza is the name of the game at DeePizz (384 College St.). 

introducing East Chinatown’s newest café: Elvy and Flow (713 Gerrard St. E.). 

From olive oil and ice cream to wine and donuts, The Food District offers a range of food and drink concepts across 34,000 sq. ft. at Square One. Doors open Monday.

IST Snack Bar (1263 Queen St. W.), “Toronto's first ever Indian snack bar,” debuts tomorrow in Doomie’s old spot.

Made-to-order, Neapolitan-style pizzas can now be yours thanks to Pi Co. at CF Sherway Gardens (25 The West Mall).

Planta Queen (180 Queen St. W.) launches today.

Doors opened Monday for Salus Fresh Foods third location (101 Peter St.).

CLOSED

Bob Coffee Bar (440 Christie St.) is closed. It will be reopening as the Davenport, with Bob as a part of the new concept in six weeks, so stay tuned.

Saturday is the final night for Thymeless (355 College St.) after a 15-year run.

The location that’s been home to Rock Lobster, PO Box 1192, Skwish and most recently Lambretta (1192 Queen St. E.) in Leslieville has proven unsuccessful thus far.

EVENTS

Dinner with a View kicks off tonight.

On Saturday, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen celebrates 30 years with a bonne fête including champagne for $30 (all day), brunch, oysters, and more.

Keto and paleo folks will be excited by The Low Carb Lifestyle Show taking place on Saturday.

Riverside Wine & Craft Beer Fest (April 2-6) includes pairing dinners, tastings, demos, a night market and much more.
