OPEN
Butter Chicken Roti continues its expansion across the 6ix with a shop at Queen and Coxwell (1610 Queen St. E.). More locations are set to follow.
Dagu Rice Noodle has landed in Chinatown at College and Spadina (409 Spadina Ave.).
Head to Friday Roots And Vibes (876 Dundas St. W.) by Chef Joe Friday (Calii Love, Via Vai) for Southern food, cocktails and live music 6pm to midnight.
The long-awaited McEwan Foods at Yonge and Bloor (1 Bloor St. E.) launches Monday.
Craving Mexican? Pancho Y Emiliano’s second location (291 King St. W.) has got you covered.
Wu Jian Dao’s Shanghai specialities can be ordered for takeout at their new spot downtown (29B St Joseph St.). The dining area will be ready in March, fingers crossed.
CLOSED
Fotia Tapas (156 O’Connor Dr.) has a for sale sign in the window.
Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill (240 Leighland Ave.) in Oakville shuttered after ten years in the biz.
Sugar Loaf Bakery is no more. Both east end locations - 729 Queen St. E. and 1062 Gerrard St. E. – have reached an end.
