March is off to a great start - say hello to 11 fascinating new haunts to discover this weekend.

Here’s the very latest:

OPEN

The third Bar Hop (681 Danforth Ave.) launched eastside on Wednesday.

Speaking of eastside, it’s the place to be for beer these days. Now you can add cider to the list - Brickworks Ciderhouse (709 Queen St. E.) celebrated their grand opening yesterday.

Chocolats Favoris (1440 Major MacKenzie Dr. W.) opens in Vaughan on Saturday at 12pm.

Carb lover’s, head’s up: Venice’s Dal-Moro’s Fresh Pasta To Go (605 Yonge St.) opens Friday.

Grocery story Farm Boy, specializing in fresh, local food, has landed at Shoppes of Alderwood Plaza (847 Brown's Line) in Etobicoke.

Parkdale has a new destination for fusion fare, thanks to Garleek Kitchen (1500 Queen St. W.).

CF Toronto Eaton Centre has a new high-end eatery. The menu at Hendricks Restaurant & Bar (218 Yonge St.) includes Black Truffle Burrata Pasta Sachets ($22), Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes ($25), Black Cod ($36) and 14 oz. NY Striploin ($39). Stay tuned.

Dig into Peruvian fare by Executive Chef Stuart Cameron at Mira (420A Wellington St. W.), the newest restaurant and bar from ICONINK.

O wine bar, wine bar, wherefore art thou wine bar? It’s right here. Paris Paris (1161 Dundas St. W.) - brought to you by the dreamtime behind Superpoint and Bar Fancy - has arrived. See you there.

Rustle & Still Café (605 Bloor St. W.) is serving up banh mi, Viet iced coffees and purple sweet potato lattes, all in a pretty, plant-filled space.

Restaurant, bar, and brewery The Six Brewing Co. (777 Dundas St. W.) in now open in Trinity-Bellwoods, with beer-to-go in their bottle shop.

CLOSED

Momofuku’s Shōtō and Daishō have closed. The space is undergoing renovations and will reopen with a new concept come spring. Noodle Bar, Nikai, and Milk Bar, on the first and second floors of 190 University Ave., will remain open during this time.

Beaches landmark Whitlock’s (1961 Queen St. E.) has shuttered after almost three decades.
