Open/Closed: week of December 13-19, 2018
Clear your schedule, you’ve got a lot of eating to do this weekend.
I’ve got 12 new spots with pizza, cheese tarts, rotis, goat, palettas, mammouls… Better grab your stretchy pants - you’re gonna need ‘em.
Here’s the very latest:

If freshly baked cheese tarts make your mouth water, head to PABLO Cheesetart’s newest outpost at Fairview Mall (1800 Sheppard Ave., Level 2)

The Pizza Forno is back. The automatic pizza oven will be spitting out ‘za at Bay and Bloor (1235 Bay St.) tomorrow at 4pm. Stay tuned: eight more locations are set to follow, including one at Dixie Outlet Mall.

In the last few weeks there was talk that due to a number of factors, Los Colibris and El Caballito (220 King St. W.) would close in December. Confirmed.

The 1st Annual Nog Your Socks Off event kicks off tomorrow, and you don’t want to miss it. From December 14-21, enjoy egg nog by Civil Liberties, Famous Last Words Toronto, The Gaslight, and Grey Tiger and raise money for Socks4Souls Canada - a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that provides homeless people with new, clean socks. $1 from each nog “will go towards the purchase of two pairs of socks for members of the homeless community in Southwestern Ontario.”
