In addition to the evening's festivities, you’ll be helping give people access to healthy food. Since 1985, non-profit organization FoodShare has worked with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and innovative food education, improving the way people eat and grow food across Toronto. With 95 community-led food initiatives, including growing fresh produce in schools, training young urban farmers and serving lowcost nutritious meals in Good Food Cafes and community kitchens, FoodShare’s program have successfully reached over 250,000 people in Toronto last year alone.
