I’ve never seen anything like it – another insane week of openings (15!).

Here’s the very latest:

OPENINGS

Assembly Chefs Hall  (111 Richmond St. W.) “softly” opened on Monday. The 18,000 square-feet food hall features an array of culinary stops all under one roof: Bluenose Lobster, Bulldog Coffee, Cherry Street Bar-B-Que, Colibri, DaiLo, Hibiscus, The Good Son, Little Khao, Love Chix, Mira Mira, Nutbar, Resto Boemo, Ramen Isshin, Reyna, Short & Sweet Bakeshop, Tachi & Shari, and Tokyo Smoke.

In the Davenport and Lansdowne area? Get your caffeine fix at Balzac’s Powerhouse (31 Powerhouse St.).

Toronto restaurateur Janet Zuccarini (owner of Gusto 54, Gusto 101Trattoria NervosaPai, and Kiin, in Toronto, and award-winning LA resto Felix Trattoria), along with her team, opened the doors to Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen (104 Portland St.) this week. Stay tuned.

Congee Queen (800 Boyer Blvd., Unit 5) has landed in Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre, just in time for cold weather.

The grand opening for “fashion-inspired” Dolce Moda (420 Summerhill Ave.) takes place on Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.

French pâtisserie and café Fleur du Jour (603 St Clair St. W.) offers “classic and innovative” artisanal pastries.

Hopscotch (224 Queen St. W.) celebrated their grand opening on Monday with seasonal menu items by celebrity chef Vikram Vij.

Tokyo’s Michelin Guide recommended Konjiki Ramen (5051 Yonge St.) has opened their first location overseas, featuring their famous full-bodied clam, chicken and pork base, with gourmet ingredients including truffles and porcini oil.

Ladurée Paris officially opens today at noon inside Yorkdale Shopping Centre (3401 Dufferin St.). In addition to their famous macarons and signature tea salon, shoppers can browse limited time Maple Syrup macaron, Ladurée chocolates, jams, honeys, specialty teas, candles, room fragrances, as well as accessories (key chains, shopping bags, etc.). The lines won’t be quite as long as Cheesecake Factory, but it’ll be close.

Square One (100 City Centre Dr.) now has its own Reds Wine Tavern.

Sayro Café (5051 Yonge St.) has softly opened in the same space as Konjiki. The first overseas location for the café serves homemade cheesecake, Hojicha (Japanese roasted tea) soft serve ice cream with colourful oiri (Japanese tiny soft candy rice balls) and burnt marshmallow with matcha ice cream, a popular Tokyo dessert.

Tuck into crab, salmon, shrimp, tilapia, sea bass, sea bream and calamari at Meadowvale Town Centre’s new Seafood Centre (6550 Meadowvale Town Centre, Unit 2A).

Satiate your craving for Japanese fare including sushi, sashimi and sushi burritos at Sho Izakaya(1406 Queen St. W.) starting Monday.

It’s been a busy time for Mississauga’s Meadowvale Town Centre  Social Eatery Winston Churchill (6610 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle) just opened their doors too.

From the team behind Cava and Atlas, Argentinean resto Tanto (74 Ossington Ave.) welcomed diners for the first time last night.

The Dundas General (1239 Dundas St. W.) has shuttered, with a  bailiff’s notice posted on the door.

Donations of unwrapped toys, toiletries and winter clothing will be accepted at Dominion Pub & Kitchen (500 Queen E.) on Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. All items will go to Red Door Shelter.
