Even with the short week, I’ve got 13 new spots for you to discover.

OPENINGS

Warm up with a cuppa at the second location of popular Taiwanese teashop The Alley (5 St. Joseph St.).

Casa Mia Delicatessen (1985 Queen St. E.) debuted Tuesday. Shop for fresh fior de latte, homemade focaccia, and other prepared foods.

The former location of Frank’s Kitchen and Abbiocco is now Chez’s Restaurant (588 College St.), offering a “fresh new take on European bistro food.” Doors open Saturday.

Independent café Crosscut Coffee (1142 Davenport Rd.) is serving up small-batch local coffee, breakfast items, artisanal sandwiches, and sharing plates in the heart of Davenport Village.

Earls Court BBQ by Pork Ninjas (1278 St Clair Ave. W.) launches Tuesday.

Mealtime just got a whole lot easier, thanks to the new FLOCK (661 University Ave.) at Queen’s Park.

Fans of The Federal (1438 Dundas St. W.) are in for a treat.
Gold Standard Sandwich has set up shop behind Reunion Island Coffee Bar (385 Roncesvalles Ave.), serving up delectable sandwiches on Martin’s Famous Potato Rolls. Drool.

The grand opening of Hogtown Vegan’s second location (382 College St.) takes place today. To celebrate, enjoy free mousse for dessert with the purchase of any entrée or sandwich.

Looking to purchase Japanese knives or simply get them sharpened? Head to Knife’s stunning new spot (803 Dundas St. W.).

After lengthy delays, Love Me Sweet has finally opened at Square One (100 City Centre Dr.).

The owners of Eastside Social and The Thirsty Duck launch their third Leslieville eatery today. Pollyanna (1054 Gerrard St. E.). The mantra here? “Eat often. Drink well.”

Fan of the Netflix series “Riverdale”? Then you’ll want to get yourself to “Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe” popping up today and tomorrow at Fran’s (20 College St. location only).

CLOSINGS

Seven Lives Paleteria (72 Kensington Ave.) has shuttered, but Seven Lives lives on across the street (69 Kensington Ave.).

NEWS

Get tickets now for Tuesday’s Eat to the Beat, featuring 60 female chefs supporting women through the challenges that come with a breast cancer diagnosis.

Make dinner reservations for a great cause: Restaurants for Change takes place on Wednesday.
