Open/Closed for the week of January 9-15

This week might not be busting with openings like last week’s 16, but there are some epic ones here.

That, in addition to outstanding events, and your weekend is made.

Here’s the very latest.

Open:

Allwyn's Bakery

4750 Yonge Street. Unit # 135

The new spot for the legendary Caribbean fare opened just yesterday. Look for it in the food court at the back of building.

Capra’s Kitchen

1834 Lakeshore Rd. W.

After lengthy renovations, Celebrity chef Massimo Capra opened his new restaurant in Clarkson Village on Monday.

The menu features a wide range of starters, pizzas, pastas, shared boards, mains, sides and desserts. You’ll have to make multiple visits to try everything.

I’ll have a closer look for you soon.

Southern Accent

839 College St.

Southern Accent is now in their new home on College at Ossington.

You can call today to book Winterlicious, and they’ll be open tomorrow and on the weekend in the evening for dinner (note: they’re still waiting on a liquor license).

On Monday they’ll be open at 8am for grab and go, coffee and beignets, and lunch as well.
