Open/Closed for the week of January 9-15
This week might not be busting with openings like last week’s 16, but there are some epic ones here.

Open:
4750 Yonge Street. Unit # 135
The new spot for the legendary Caribbean fare opened just yesterday. Look for it in the food court at the back of building.
1834 Lakeshore Rd. W.
After lengthy renovations, Celebrity chef Massimo Capra opened his new restaurant in Clarkson Village on Monday.
The menu features a wide range of starters, pizzas, pastas, shared boards, mains, sides and desserts. You’ll have to make multiple visits to try everything.

839 College St.
Southern Accent is now in their new home on College at Ossington.
You can call today to book Winterlicious, and they’ll be open tomorrow and on the weekend in the evening for dinner (note: they’re still waiting on a liquor license).
On Monday they’ll be open at 8am for grab and go, coffee and beignets, and lunch as well.

Shake Shack’s first-ever popup in Toronto is happening at Momofuku Daishō (third floor) on Wednesday, January 18 from 12:30–6:30 pm. A limited number of burgers will be available on a first come, first served basis. I’ll be covering it live, so be sure to follow us on IG to catch all the action!

Hopgoods Foodliner announced that February 6th is their last service.
Origin on King is closing January 21st.
