As we enter into the tenth month (how did that happen), I’ve got a staggering 12 new spots to satiate that craving of yours and some very filling events to take you through the weekend.

AllStar Wings & Ribs

Catch the game and get sticky fingers at the new location on the Danforth.

Cadillac Jenkins
930 Queen St. W.

Opening Saturday at 9pm, the new restaurant offers Caribbean-inspired eats, libations and music everyday from 5pm until late, with brunch on Sundays. The menu consists of small and large plates, including Jerk Pork Tacos, Jerk Salt Encrusted Snapper, and Fried Jerk Chicken Sandwich on housemade coco bread.

Good Rebel

The new vegan grocer opens Friday at noon.

Hungry Amoo
74 Ossington Ave.

Sip on cocktails while enjoying an array of global flavours by way of Scotch Egg (spicy housemade sausage, Dijon, greens), Falafel (hummus, charred tomato and pickled mango), and Tamarind Beef (crispy pulled brisket, cashew & date sauce) at this brand new stop for dinner and drinks.

Laylow Beer Bar & Eatery

In the College and Dufferin area? Stop into Laylow for a pint. Doors opened Monday.
 
Leslieville Farm To Table Co-Op Market
1144 Queen St E.

Celebrating their grand opening on Saturday at 10am, the new fresh fruit and vegetable co-op carries products from small businesses including Rustichella, Clarke’s Bread, Cara’s Skin Care, Snaffle and Mane, KoKo, PBD Jewelry, M. Thompson Chocolates, and Treeform.

Mashu Mashu
3305 Yonge St.

The second location of the Mediterranean & Middle Eastern restaurant opened on Yonge St. north of Lawrence.

Pantry by The Food Dudes
1094 Yonge St.

Rosedale's new eat in or take out spot features combos with your choice of protein and sides. Round out your meal with dessert and drinks.

PizzaThick & Ice Cream

Opened Friday, the second location featuring hybrid Chicago-style pizza and biscuit crust, is also now home to Death by Venice gelato.

Rosen’s Cinnamon Buns
825 College St.

Introducing the gateway to your cinnamon bun addiction. Doors open Wednesday.

STK
155 Yorkville Ave.

STK Toronto opened during TIFF for the celebs. But now you get your chance to visit the luxe steakhouse brand known around the globe.

Village Pie
337 Danforth Ave.

Talk about pie heaven. There are so many to choose from. Sweeter selections include Custard and Apple, with savoury options of Ham & Cheese, Spinach, Mushroom, Ground Beef, Squash and many, many more ready to go.

Closed:

Bar Volo is closing the Yonge St. location on Saturday. But don’t worry - Birreria Volo is now open in Little Italy.

 Happy National Coffee Day! To celebrate, Krispy Creme is offering free coffee and Original Glazed donuts at their Toronto locations, including Spadina today.
