Ahhh, the long weekend is finally here and with it, some mighty fine places to eat and drink.

Formerly home to Celestin, the new Peruvian-inspired restaurant is serving up enticing fare such as Sea Urchin Foam ($9.50) with pickled beets and aji amarillo, and Braised Amaranth ($21) with grilled fillet of sole.

Yorkville's new Mediterranean snack and cocktail bar officially opens Wednesday.
El Rey Mezcal Bar

The much-anticipated bar from Grant van Gameren is now open seven nights a week.

Leslieville's new French restaurant and wine bar officially opens for business Tuesday.

Pizzas are cooked in 90 seconds flat. Choose your own toppings from savoury - shaved asparagus and cherry tomato, for example – to sweet, such as Nutella banana.

Doors opened Tuesday with an array of healthy fare including protein-packed Quinoa, Egg & Bacon Muffins, Zucchini Loaf, Nicoise Sandwich, Black Bean & Corn Salad, Power Bites and Banana Coconut Cookies.
There’ s an exercise element to the space too, but you might not get to it with all this food on hand.
Tio’s Urban Mexican

Tio's menu includes Bone Marrow Azteck Soup ($15), Guajillo Shrimp ($20), and Grilled Corn ($12) garnished with chipotle mayo, and queso cotija.
