Open/Closed for the week of April 4-10

We might still have snow and heavy rain despite it officially being spring, but at least there are some new spots to head out to.

Here’s the very latest:

Open:

Hangry Burger
435 Yonge St.

Hangry Burger officially opens tomorrow.

On the menu, beef burgers such as the Jamaican Me Hangry ($8.99) with 100% beef patty, jerk sauce, double smoked bacon, house slaw, and jalapenos. Vegetarians can hanker down on The Peacemaker ($6.49) boasting a veggie patty, goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and "hangry" sauce.

Kwan
808 York Mills Rd.

The second location for the Yonge & St. Clair resto just opened, moving north to York Mills and Leslie.
 
Nanashake
4750 Yonge St.

If you’re looking for a vegan frozen dessert option in the Yonge & Sheppard 'hood, Nanshake has you covered with their banana dessert eaten with a spoon.
 
Round the Horn

The new bar on Roncey has got a bevy of beer and the game on. What else could you ask for?

Uncle Tetsu's Angel Café

The Testu empire contines to expand, this time with room to sit and get read for it - maids.  That’s right, it’s Canada's first "maid-style" (women dressed in maid uniforms) café complete with Angel Hat & Lunar cheesecakes and J-Pop style performances every Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.

The Brunswick House has closed after 140 years.

Starting yesterday and stretching all the way to April 20th, enjoy your fill of gin at Ginapalooza’s  2nd Annual Gin Festival. Should you be traveling cross country, it’s also happening in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver this year as well.

This Friday to Sunday, eat, drink, learn and shop at the Toronto Food + Drink Market
