Where to catch the NBA all-star game action this weekend
As if this weekend weren’t exciting enough with Valentine’s Day and Family Day. One of the city’s biggest events, the 65th NBA All-Star Game is happening this Sunday, February 14 at the Air Canada Centre(ACC).
Here’s where to catch the NBA all-star game action - and possibly player (Kobe Bryant, LeBron James) and celebrity (Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart, Usher) sightings around town this weekend:

Chris Zielinski, Culinary Director at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, shared a photo on social media of All-Star cookies that will be a part of this weekend’s celebrations.
No doubt all seven of the ACC restaurants including Real Sports Bar & Grill and Hot Stove Club will be jumping, as well as the Sher Club, the high-end, exclusive club that opened in May, branded by their Team Ambassador Drake, and named in honour of his mom.

Fring’s has become a celebrity hub thanks in part to Drake’s appearance at the opening.
Folks will flock to the restaurant/lounge to gawk at the rich and famous, and with Drake being in town Friday night to coach the Canadian all-star team, there's a chance you might get a glimpse of Drizzy after all.

In honour of the upcoming All-Star Game, Jump has created The Sir Charles Burger ($34, in honour of Sir Charles Barkley’s number). Six ounces of ground round gets stuffed with Blackview Farms pulled pork and topped with crispy DFC pancetta, Monforte cheddar, a beer-battered onion ring & “nasty” mayo. Served with fries and a side of the nasty mayo for dipping

The Thompson Toronto Hotel is the official hotel of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), and being turned into a "Players House," providing a home base for the players this weekend.
Whether it’s the VIP lounge at the Rooftop Lounge, players will be celebrating at parties, events and suites throughout the hotel.
The hotel has even ordered extra long bathrobes and extra large slippers in anticipation of the arrival of these larger-than-life athletes.
