he 12th annual Cask Days is here again.

From October 21-23, this unique beer fest - brought to you by the owners of Bar Volo - takes over Evergreen Brick Works for three days with more than 200 brewers and over 400 casks of ales and ciders.

Cask Days is one of the biggest cask-conditioned beer festivals in North America. This once a year celebration gives you the opportunity to taste the difference between cask and draught beer. Cask-conditioned ale "is as close to beer straight from the brewery that you can possibly get," according to organizers. Once tapped, this unfiltered, unpasteurized and naturally carbonated ale has only a few days to be consumed before spoiling.

Breweries across North America will be featuring their cask brews, with the spotlight this year on Oregon. Fifty beers and ciders from Oregon State will be available for the first time in the province.

You’re going to want some food to go with all that ale. In addition to Portland’s Lardo Sandwiches on site, grab eats from Toronto’s own Birreria Volo, Brando’s Fried Chicken, Home of the Brave, Montgomery’s, Pawel’s, and Sweet Jesus.

There’s also music and an art show of beer labels and design, with framed works available to be won.

Tickets include general admission, as well as "Ralph's Reality Tour" - a guided tour with founder of Cask Days and Bar Volo, Ralph Morana.

Sure you'd probably spend the weekend with beer in hand. But not like this.
