A stunning new bar/lounge has made its way onto Wellington. Sip cocktails in exquisite rooms, play foosball or grab a bite to eat. Just watch – this will quickly become one of the "it" places of the year.
Lee Kitchen by Susur Lee
Terminal 1 – Toronto Int’l Airport
Lee Kitchen by Chef Susur Lee is now open for dinner only at the airport. Features include a Dim Sum menu, as well as his Top Chef Chicken and Cheeseburger Spring Roll lettuce wraps.
Neo Coffee
161 Frederick St.
Opening on Saturday, this coffee bar in the St. Lawrence Market ‘hood features pastries as well.
Nightowl Toronto
647 College St.
If you’ve been waiting for your three favourite things – drinks, music and arcade games – to come together, your dreams have finally come true. The two-storey establishment(the second floor will feature live music events) opens tomorrow night at 5pm.
Pop-Up on River
119 River St.
Regent Park’s new Pop-Up on River feature dishes that "pop-up" on the menu form time to time. Regular menu items include Gyro on a Pita ($5.45), Hot Dog ($4), Fish and Chips ($9.45) and Frappe ($3).
Red Castle
531 Danforth Ave.
A new Mediterranean, Moroccan, and Lebanese restaurant opened on the Danforth, confirming that the Danforth is continuing to move away from Greek food.
Closed:
Just Desserts is closing its doors. Last day of service is Sunday.
Events:
Today is the beginning of the Pan American Food Festival, lasting all long weekend long. Woo woo!
Starting on Saturday at noon and lasting until 9pm on Sunday, choose from over 20 food trucks’ eats at the Toronto Food Truck Festival.
This Wednesday, head to Dora Keogh for an epic event - "Tasting of Beers, Ales and Stouts with Compatible Foods" a recreation of a historic tasting originally held in 1944 at NYC’s The Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
