Mealshare's launch a success
Last night's Mealshare launch at Pizzeria Libretto's Danforth location was a great success.
The crowd was filled with some of Toronto's finest restaurant and food folks including Abbey Sharp, founder of Abbey's Kitchen; Enoteca Sociale's Chef Kris Schlotzhauer, trying to grab a quick bite before heading back to work for dinner service; Christian Reilly of GFS, which supplies many of Toronto's restaurants; folks from PARC, the phenomenal organization that donates the meals to those in need; and some of the team from Café Belong including Maitre d' extraordinaire, Francis Betrand.
Rocco's Duck Confit pizzas made their way out to the crowd. But don't worry - you can order your own and do good at the same time: Starting Tuesday, when you order a Duck Confit Pizza at any of Pizzeria Libretto's locations, you will also be buying a meal for someone in need.
