Food Revolution Day 2015 – Help Make Food Education Mandatory

"My wish is to create a strong sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook and empower people everywhere to fight obesity." - Jamie Oliver

Food Revolution Day 2015 is a campaign to put compulsory practical food education on the school curriculum.

Jamie Oliver, beloved cookbook author and television star, launched a global petition in March calling on the leaders and governments of G20 countries to make food education a compulsory part of every school curriculum. Read his letter here.

Oliver has long been an advocate for food education. Take his Food Foundation in the US and UK for example, whose mission is "to shape the health and wellbeing of current and future generations and contribute to a healthier world, by providing better access to food education for everyone." His commitment to this issue has been long and steadfast and continues to grow with each passing year.
