So restaurant openings may have slowed down a bit, but the exciting news and events thankfully haven’t. And I’ve got some breaking news below…! Get ready!

The first of three locations (next Queen West, then Oakville) in Canada, this American chain of healthy fast food – local, all-natural burgers, kale and quinoa bowls, seasonal salads, veg and smoothies – lands in the St. Lawrence Market ‘hood. Doors open to the public tomorrow and I'll have the whole scoop for you next week.
Junked Food Co.
1256 Dundas St. W.
Donuts, chips, waffles and pie like you've never had it before. Junked Food Co. is open for lunch, dinner and late night snacks.
Closed:
Moe Pancers Delicatessen closed.
Amaya Bread Bar and Amaya Express north of Lawrence are now operating as Indian Bread Bar.

Chef Robert Hojilla of the recently closed Hudson Kitchen tweeted this last night:
"Super excited to join the great team at @theharbordroom @ChefCoryV .Hope to see some familiar faces soon."

Mr. Ciao, the best Italian food in Chinatown East, got a new chef and launched a new menu this week with enticing additions, including: Crispy Polenta with blue cheese & mascarpone dip; Spicy Sausage Pizza with housemade sausage; and Orrechietti with crimini, oyster and porcini mushrooms in a garlic and white wine cream sauce.
