Chef Corbin Tomaszeski

Chef Corbin has not only been a part of the Showdown every year, he's been one of the top fundraisers. He is passionate about supporting and working with important charitable cause The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation for two important reasons:

"A very close friend and Godmother to my son Bennett battled and overcame Breast Cancer two years ago. And more recently I have found out that one of my Aunts is battling Breast Cancer for the second time - something that has greatly affected our family.

The Breast Cancer mortality rate has decreased by 44% since 1986, but still 1out of 9 women will still be diagnosed with this horrible disease. Breast Cancer continues to be the most common cancer diagnosis in Canadian women and we need money to be raised to find a cure! We all have a mother or sister, daughter, wife, grandmother, niece, cousin or Aunt that can be potentially diagnosed, I want to help raise money to find a cure and I need your help.

With Noah Cappe returning at Emcee this year, and Dee Dee Taylor Eustace as event chair, it’s a not-to-be missed event.

And all for a great cause. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is the largest non-governmental funder of breast cancer research in Canada dedicated to funding innovative research, health education and advocacy programs that aim to reduce the incidence of breast cancer, lower mortality rates, and support women who have experienced a breast cancer diagnosis.
